Runemarked Mages Playtest

Sitting on the edge of the golden plains lies the Bastion. A massive fortress of the old world. In it’s twisted spires and floating towers are the mages who keep an endless vigil on the wastes. Protecting humanity from the monsters that come from the dark.

Runemarked Mages is a small ttrpg using the Illuminated Worlds system. It is a game in which you play as a mage of the golden lands. Both defender and explorer, the mages will be going out into the wastes to take back what they can from the ruins of the old.

The mage classes are based around the many elements of magic. Each one is constructed with their own unique spells and abilities, while also providing easy to understand ways to progress the class into the mage you want to be.

This is the first public playtest to try out how the core system works and the first mages. If things go well there are more mages, runes, enemies, and The Bastion all currently being planned. Currently the plans for the next 3 mages are: the Necromancer, the Oneiromancer, and the Cryomancer.
